すべての音は、ひとつのチェロから生まれる。
関西を拠点に活動する演奏家・チェリスト、中川裕貴によるソロアルバム『Stills and Remains』のリリースツアーを開催します。本作は2026年6月、Mabe FrattiやPeter Zummoなどの作品をリリースしてきたオランダのレーベル〈Unheard of Hope〉より発表されます。独学でチェロを学んだ中川は、長年にわたりこの楽器を「声を生み出す装置」として捉え、その音響的な可能性を探ってきました。
『Stills and Remains』は、すべての音を一台のチェロのみで構成した作品です。特殊奏法や自作の弓、エフェクトペダルを用いながら、弓の摩擦、打楽器的な響き、深く沈み込むドローン、微細なノイズが重なり合い、チェロの「声」を主体とした環境／空間としての音楽が立ち上がります。今回のツアーでは、弓や指、身体と楽器のあいだで繰り返される往復の中で、音が「声」として現れる瞬間を、一本のチェロとともに各地で立ち上げます。

音楽と、それ以前。
音楽の成立やその原初を遡ると、そこには私たちが存在を証明するために発する「声」という現象があったのではないかと考えます。この作品には、「音楽」という時間と空間の上に立ち上がる建物であると同時に、「声」という態度、意思、メッセージが含まれています。
音楽で在ると同時に、声としてここに居ること。
その往復と重なり、以前と以後。そしてそこから皆さんの中に現れるものを、ぜひ会場で体験してください。

All sounds are born from a single cello.
A release tour will be held for Stills and Remains, the solo album by Kansai-based performer and cellist Yuki Nakagawa.
The album will be released in June 2026 by the Dutch label Unheard of Hope, known for its releases by artists such as Mabe Fratti and Peter Zummo. Self-taught on the cello, Nakagawa has long approached the instrument as a “device for generating voice,” continually exploring its sonic possibilities.
Stills and Remains is composed entirely from the sounds of a single cello. Using extended techniques, self-made bows, and effects pedals, Nakagawa creates a music of environment and space centered around the “voice” of the cello, where the friction of the bow, percussive resonances, deep drones, and microscopic noise overlap.
On this tour, with one cello, Nakagawa will bring these moments to life in different places — moments in which sound emerges as “voice” through the repeated exchange between bow, fingers, body, and instrument.

If we trace music back to its origins, perhaps there was first the phenomenon of “voice” — something we utter in order to prove our own existence. This work is a structure that rises within the time and space of “music,” while also containing “voice” as an attitude, an intention, and a message.
To be music, and at the same time, to be voice.

中川裕貴 Yuki Nakagawa プロフィール：
関西を中心に活動する音楽家／演奏家。チェロを独学で学び、そこから独自の作曲、演奏活動を行う。人間の「声」に最も近いと言われる「チェロ」という楽器を使用しながら、同時にチェロを打楽器のように使用する特殊奏法や自作の弓を使用した演奏を行う。音楽以外の表現形式との交流も長く、様々な団体やアーティストへの音楽提供や共同パフォーマンスも継続して行っている。
2022年より日野浩志郎（goat, YPY）とのDUOプロジェクト「KAKUHAN」がスタート。また2025年にはユニット「Saraudon」のメンバーとして、UKのレーベルModern Loveよりアルバムをリリース。2026年には初となるソロアルバム「Stills and Remains」がオランダのレーベルUnheard of hopeからリリースされる。近年のコンサート活動として「アウト、セーフ、フレーム(2020) 」ロームシアター京都サウスホール）、「弭（ゆはず） (2024) ロームシアター京都ノースホール）」などがある。令和６年度京都市芸術文化特別奨励者。
